How Sites Like Facebook Can Ruin Your Chance of Getting Back Your Ex

Post from http://www.danieluk.net

Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, Hi5, whichever social network you prefer, all have the possibility of sabotaging your chances of getting back together with your ex girlfriend or ex boyfriend. If you make common mistakes on these sites you could lose your ex forever.

I am going to focus mainly on Facebook in this article because it’s what I have the most experience with, however you can apply much of what you read in here to other networks.

The first error that people make after they’ve broken up with someone is to change their relationship status to “single” then to “it’s complicated” then to nothing at all, etc. This can be compared to a cry for help, it’s attention seeking behavior. It’s needy, and it’s too much information. What happens is you will send the wrong message to your ex, and you’ll appear slightly obsessed and unstable, even if you had your best intentions or were just ‘playing around’ with your status.

The second error is providing way too much information in your status updates. You don’t need to constantly provide information like “Beth is… depressed.” or “Jon is… bored.” Negative status updates can only make you look worse. When you’ve broken up with someone you shouldn’t be hoping for pity from your ex or from your friends through status updates. You could use a status update to show others how well you’re doing, though. That’s not considered needy, as long as you don’t abuse it.

A third caution is to not instantly delete all pictures of you and your ex if you’ve just broken up. This sends out a message that you are heavily affected and this is how you’re coping. It’s better to untag images of you if you feel like it; it’s less noticeable than deleting images, and if you still want a chance to get him back in the future you shouldn’t be acting in haste now.

Sites like Facebook and MySpace are great tools for staying in contact with old friends, ex boyfriends and ex girlfriends. Never underestimate the power of the information that you send out, consider that your ex will find your updates more interesting than anyone elses, because they will.

There are many other pieces of advice for not driving away your ex girl or ex guy, not just through Facebook, but through real-life situations like phone calls, texts, face-to-face meetings, and more. Take a look at the resources available and cure your breakup pain.

Free Car Classifieds Sites

Post from http://www.danieluk.net

Many people put a lot of work and love in their cars. For some people, a car is not just a way to get from one place to another. The car can sometimes feel like a part of the family, so it’s hard to let go in the future. These people often want to find the right buyer for your car rather than leave it to the car dealer. Remove Car Classifieds is a great way to try to sell your car on your own so you can maintain control.

If you have put a lot of work on your car, you want to get the most out of it. For example, if you just put in a new set of tires a couple of months ago and spent a couple thousand dollars on repairs recently, the dealership does not matter when calculating the value of your vehicle trade. However, if you work in the sale of your car on your own, you can factor in those costs in your selling price and the tone of the benefits to potential buyers.

When placed car classifieds online, you will be able to reach a large audience cannot reach otherwise. You can always put a “for sale” sign in the window of the car, pay for an ad in the local newspaper and posting flyers in local stores, but they will all cost money and do not guarantee views. If you can find a free classifieds website, you will be easily able to handle more traffic to your ad so you can reach a wider audience.

In your ad, you will also be able to put what you need for your car will sell. When you are paying for advertising, you are limited to the characters you can use in your ad. This may mean leaving important details you can reach a higher selling price. Free classifieds have fewer limitations and allow you to get the benefits of their vehicle out there so you can bring in more money.

Publish your car ads for free Car will give a greater chance of getting the money you deserve for the car that you cared for all these years. A car dealer no matter the work you put into it, but another car lover might. By using the classifieds, you will reach a wider audience and can include all the details you need to make your car attractive to buyers so you can get a higher price for the car that is valued.

TOP get paid to write sites

Post from http://www.danieluk.net

For anyone who is into writing you need to know which sites to use and which sites to stay away from, otherwise you can waste a great deal of time on the wrong ones. There are hundreds of sites to choose from and I have trawled through all of them to save you the bother.

IF you are seeking to get paid to be a writer as a full-time serious profession then it is unlikely you would ever earn enough from writing for sites alone.  Most people who write for sites do it as a paid hobby.

The two main sites are these -

HELIUM.COM

Good points -

You can recommend a topic and get paid if it is accepted (not much though)

You can complete against the others writing under the same title and get a wonderful glow of satisfaction if it comes in at number one ahead of many others

 There is a great forum

 There is a competition section

There is a market place where you can sell articles

Bad points -

You cannot think of your own topics.  They have to be acceptable

Their articles are not ranked as highly as those of other sites

TRIOND.COM

Good points -

You choose the topic and heading and write it anyway you like

Bad points -

The articles are ranked lower than those on Helium and  most other sites

Most of the people using the site and reading the articles seem to be very  young

Both of them require you to sign up to paypal to receive your revenue.  The articles that pay the best are those that require knowledge rather than those where you put an opinion.

i.e.  if you write about how to build a wall with bricks more people will read that than if you write a poem or a story or your opinion about whether or not women should be married before getting married.

Worked as a full-time, self employed, professional writer, clairvoyant, therapist, life coach and relationship expert for many years, with famous clients, newspaper articles and offers of radio and television work. Now owns businesses and designs for and runs Pineapplepups.com, preferring to have some time off and freedom rather than be working very long hours like I did before.

Social Media Aggregation Sites

Post from http://www.danieluk.net

When I first started on line like most I had absolutely no understanding of how many social media sites there were out there. AND it is growing daily. With sites like Ning everyone can now create their own social media site, will it ever end?? As I learn more I continually hear people talking about the aggregation of their social media sites and have read a few blog posts on how to use them. Here is the wikipedia definition:

Social network aggregation is the process of collecting content from multiple social network services, such as MySpace or Facebook. The task is often performed by a social network aggregator, which pulls together information into a single location,[1] or helps a user consolidate multiple social networking profiles into one profile.[2] Various aggregation services provide tools or widgets to allow users to consolidate messages, track friends, combine bookmarks, search across multiple social networking sites, read RSS feeds for multiple social networks, see when their name is mentioned on various sites, access their profiles from a single interface, provide “lifestreams”, etc.[2] Social network aggregation services attempt to organize or simplify a user’s social networking experience,[3] although the idea has been satirized by the concept of a “social network aggregator aggregator.”[4]

As you join more sites your content becomes spread all over the place and it becomes necessary to take some sort of control. If you do not then social media can be a BIG waste of time. Just think if you were using 25 different social media sites, how long does it take just to sign into them all? Here are 3 of the social network aggregation sites I have looked into…

Friendfeed “Read and share however you want – from your email, your phone or even from Facebook. Publish your FriendFeed to your website or blog, or to services you already use, like Twitter.” I admit to not really getting this one, I signed up for an account months ago and almost never use it.

Fuser “Manage your email and social networking messages from one inbox” Looks interesting but I have never invested any time to learn how to use it. I would love to hear from people who are successfully using this one.

Spokeo is a “search engine specialized in organizing people-related information from phone books, social networks, marketing lists, business sites, and other public sources.” This one was recommended to me by an associate and it does look interesting

You will need to decide exactly what you want the aggreation site to do for you, because there are many out there and more to come. Each one will do a little something different for you so it is best to look at the sites from the perspective of what you want it to do for you rather than what it has to offer. Take control or it will take control of you!

And now, I would like to invite you to get your Free Instant Access to 30 days of Social Media Tips & Techniques to build your home business using Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube. Go To http://www.ButterFlyNetworking.com. Here you will receive a free email a day for 30 days with specific instructions for using social media to find contacts, leads, customers and clients.
