Columbia, MD – With a new charity campaign in the Columbia, MD area, Campbell Insurance & Investments looks to offer financial relief to Kathryn Keller, a local woman who is fighting Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2015 about 48,960 people, 24,840 men and 24,120 women, will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While also raising awareness about the disease, Campbell seeks to raise funds to help Kathryn alleviate her medical costs. Donations can now be made through the campaign’s page at http://www.campbellinsuranceteam.com/KATHRYN’S-FIGHT-AGAINST-CANCER_13_community_cause.
Through its vast network of loyal customers, staff, business partners, friends and family, Campbell will divulge Kathryn’s circumstances, giving others the opportunity to contribute, and become active agents of change. The initiative is another display of the agency’s commitment to striving to keep those around them always in good hands.
“The process of chemo treatment is hard and scary enough, and on top of it all, Kathryn is struggling with financial burdens. We want to help alleviate some of her medical costs by joining her loyal friend, Wendy Abrahams, passionate fund raising efforts,” said Craig Campbell, the Agency’s Principal.
The campaign will be heavily promoted over the course of the next 45 days, through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Maryland and Pennsylvania, where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature Kathy’s story, and other details. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://www.campbellinsuranceteam.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
Campbell Insurance & Investments asks the support of all of those who are able to spare $ 5 or more. Any and all the help is valuable and greatly appreciated by the family. Donors are encouraged to visit http://www.gofundme.com/kiiiys and also share the page with friends and family. Those contributing will be acknowledged in the agency’s monthly magazine.
The Community Program held by Campbell Insurance & Investments will continue to feature a new cause every 60 days, in an effort to rebuild, restore and offer relief to the community. In many cases, the agency will work with local nonprofit organizations, to elect families and individuals in need to receive such support, but an open channel has also been established at http://www.campbellinsuranceteam.com/Add-Community-Cause_54 , so other members of the community can bring to the agency’s attention a specific need, known to them. More information regarding past and current campaigns supported by Campbell Insurance & Investments can be found at http://www.campbellinsuranceteam.com/community-cause.
